Mysticism, waterfalls of up to 130 meters and breathtaking landscapes are the features of Chapada dos Veadeiros, a bit more than 200 kilometers from Brasília. The National Park since 1961 and World Heritage in 2001, Chapada regions is a true natural spectacle. Amid buritis (variety of palm tree) and a unique cerrado (tropical savanna), there emerge voluminous ice-cold waterfalls. It is in this scenario that visitors can adventure in many tracks, observatories, waterfalls and one of Brazil's most beautiful landscapes.

Day by day
1st DAY – City of origin/Brasília/São Jorge
Attendance at the airport two hours in advance heading for Brasília. Transfer to Alto Paraíso city (about 220 km) and São Jorge village (36 km by Parque road). Stop to contemplate Buracão and Baleia hills and Jardim de Maytréa. Arrival in São Jorge and overnight stay.
2nd DAY – Chapada dos Veadeiros
After breakfast departure to Vale da Lua, Chapada's most visited attraction. A light track a little more than one kilometer long. Visit to Raizama waterfall and São Miguel river canyon by a three-kilometer long track. Snack kit included in the tour. Three-kilometer track up to Morado do Sul waterfall and return for lunch in São Jorge.
3rd DAY – Chapada dos Veadeiros
After breakfast departure to Preto river canyon, with wells of up to 20 meters. Track of about ten kilometers to visit Carioquinhas waterfall. Snack kit included in the tour. Return and lunch.
4th DAY - Chapada dos Veadeiros/Alto Paraíso
Breakfast and departure to a 12-km track at Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, with visit to Rio Preto waterfall, among other water falls. Return and departure to Alto Paraíso after lunch.
5th DAY - Chapada dos Veadeiros/Brasília/City of Origin
After breakfast, shuttle to Santa Rita de Cássia farm to visit 130-meter Água Fria waterfall and watch Moinho valley, Serra Geral do Paraná and Órfãos waterfall. Bath at Mina waterfall. Lunch during track included. Return and lunch. Around 2H30 pm, shuttle to Brasília and board to the city of origin.

This regions is considered mystical. The esoteric people are found mainly in Alto Paraíso city. The great concentration of quartz crystals and other metals and minerals is the reason for the esotericism.
The waterfalls, which may reach the absurd heights of 130 meters, change quite a great deal, depending on the season. Between the months of October and April they are way more voluminous. Watch the flash floods, especially in the rainy season.
Bring a good pair of tennis shoes for the hiking. Many treks can be taken, which demand the visitors' attention.
As Chapada dos Veadeiros region is very well preserved, it is possible, with a bit of luck, for one to come across the local fauna. Be prepared to come back with pictures of manned wolves, pampas deers and over 300 bird species, between them the emu and the king vulture.
Besides tens of waterfalls with a height superior than 40-storey buildings, Chapada dos Veadeiros also has several canyons you should not miss out, such as Preto river, which crosses the regions and has wells of up to 20 meters deep.
Vale da Lua is one of the not-to-be-missed attractions and also one of Chapada's most visited sites. Be prepared to fell yourself in another planet. Due to the erosion caused by the waters, the grey-collored rocks gain unique shapes.
Chapada is perfect for those who enjoy radical sports. There you can go down waterfalls, take long hikes, watch the local fauna, venture yourself through bicycle tracks, hide and even practice the rappel.
Due to the existence of some difficult tracks, children under five years old are not allowed in at Capada's National Park.
